Enchanted Forest

We recently drove out to Old Forge, NY to check out Storybook Lane at Enchanted Forest. Come read all about it!

whoa, it looks exactly like when I was there like 20 years ago! They put a bumpersticker on our car, which pissed off my dad because they did it to all the cars without warning. We didn’t see much because it was pouring rain the day we were there, but we did get to pand for spraypainted gravel gold in this weird trough thing. Ah, memories!

  2. They did have a spot where you could pan for “gold” in the back corner of that wild west area, if I remember correctly. And it was panning from a metal trough, I think. Some things never change! Oh yeah, and Ham said he remembers the bumper sticker thing from when he was a kid, too!

Those feet on the sign in the restaurant are also old chuck-e-cheese.. items.. that was the applause sign.. they would clap at the end of a show..

  4. Aha! The plot thickens…!

Yes. Its the old clapperboard, which was used at Pizza Time Theatre (Chuck E Cheese) during the 80s. Although I’m not really sure why they would put them with the characters (Which, by the way, are 90s CEC 2-Stage bots). Okay, going longer than I should. I should stop now.

  6. Love the design of the crooked house. In fact it just gives me an idea to my kid’s playhouse.
